Rotary Club is the world’s first service organization, which was started in the year 1905. The club consists of more than 29,000 branches spread all over the world. The Rotary Club was started in the year 1985, in Madurai. The total membership strength has increased from 22 to 100 in the past 20 years.
The Rotary Club conducts weekly meetings and plans its services, depending on the needs and interest of the members. During the past years, they have conducted various projects. Rotary Club is non religious and non governmental organization, which determines its own functions depending on the requirements of the areas.
